There is a clematis of the 3rd group of pruning (almost to zero) sort of purpurea captivity. Grew up under 3 meters. I’m thinking of propagating ... What if you don’t trim it, but remove it from its support and completely lay it in the groove and fill it up, and cover the groove for the winter ... Will it work out now or is it worth it to deal with this summer?
Pavel, take it and try it! What are you losing? I would experiment. It doesn’t work, in the spring, pin the shoot, they take root easily.
